W dniach 24-25.03.2022 prezes Joni and Friends, John Nugent, odwiedził Polskę. Powitał Ukraińskie rodziny z osobami niepełnosprawnymi na granicy ukraińsko-polskiej, miał okazję zobaczyć pomoc oferowaną im w ramach wspólnego projektu Joni and Friends i SChRON. Spotkał się z przedstawicielami SCHRONu Henrykiem Kufeldem i Anną Zamkowską, oraz Galyną Tsymbal-Kovbasa, koordynatorem Joni and Friends na Europę Wschodnią.
